Powerful Pressure Washers – Understanding Their Basic Aspects

Basics of Powerful Pressure Washers
If you are planning to purchase powerful pressure washers to manage your cleaning applications, remember to take these important factors into consideration:

• Power Method: The Super Max ™ series of pressure cleaners from Daimer® features different versions powered by electricity, gas, or propane. Electric power washers are the fastest selling versions because of their compact size, low maintenance issues, and low noise operation.

• Cold/Hot/Steam Based: Powerful pressure washers generally come with three temperature options – cold water, hot water, and steam. You can choose the cold water based Super Max™ 8900C-322 for light-duty cleaning applications. For more demanding jobs, go for pressure cleaners with triple function capabilities. The tri-mode Super Max™ 6000 can generate steam at temperatures of up to 330ºF and hot water at temperatures as high as 210ºF.

• Flow Rate: The Super Max™ series features pressure cleaners with different flow rates in the range of 0.5 GPM to 8 GPM. Higher flow rates often result in higher cleaning power. While vehicle detailing jobs are best completed with power cleaners with low flow rates of about 0.5 GPM, heavy-duty industrial cleaning demands powerful pressure washers with pressure levels above 3000 psi.

• Pressure Levels: Pressure cleaning machines with pressure levels less than 1000 psi are suitable for light cleaning jobs. For commercial applications, choose powerful pressure washers with pressure levels ranging from 1500 psi to 3000 psi. When you need to manage extremely demanding cleaning tasks, choose power cleaners with pressure levels above 3000 psi.
